There is no doubt that in the world of business, Social Media is becoming more and more powerful as we speak. The need for social engagement, in businesses, schools and non- profit organisations, especially in our new Covid world, has grown exponentially. What was once viewed as a myriad of attention grabbing social platforms, has now grown to become a global tool for marketing strategies. Here are the three ways social media and business are being integrated into our daily lives.
Promoting Goodwill At Work
The use of social media is beginning to overlap into our work environments. For instance, the fact that companies should allow the usage of Social Media, not just for marketing purposes, but so they can also retain and promote goodwill towards their employees wellbeing, has become the norm.
The Use Of Algorithms
In the last year or so, Facebook and Instagrams algorithms have changed to promote the integration of your personal life within your business life as well. The ‘like’ systems have changed, recognising the negative impact on a users self worth, urging them to take a step back, and share true connections once again. Through videos, blogs and daily story posts, one is now urged to build an organic following, even at work, creating successful cross promotion.
The Use Of Facebook Groups
In my own experience, Facebook is now becoming a multi- layered platform, being able to use it socially, while building your business connections through Facebook groups. It is now overlapping, and becoming so huge that there is truly room for everyone to engage in it. Instagram, however, while it can be social, is mainly a great platform for b2b relationships, especially if you have a visual platform, and wish to be taken seriously.
Whichever way you choose, Social Media is a great way to cross promote an ‘impression’ of your business and your connections for your future success!
